While our team 9 was moving from one pavilion to another, Pastor Shelter told us that one of his friend from London is here at the Expo. We decided to stop by, and soon we met Pastor Andrew Franklin and his company in back of Hanhwa Aqua Planet(aquarium). Pastor Andrew was with a Korean pastor and a translator, and they were both from Hanshin Church in Bundang. As the reunion took a little more time, Gyori and I decided to take an advantage and instead of looking for another foreigner, we asked Andrew if we can interview him. He said okay at once even though his toe was injured(and we didn’t know)! As soon as we noticed his foot, we took him to a first-aid center, and there we could hear how he had hurt. Pastor Andy was ministering in Malaysia before he came to Korea(he wrote down my e-mail address to send me his works, but I haven’t got them yet) and there he used to play squash at a school. One day he forgot to bring his squash shoes, but he played anyway with bare feet; that’s how his toe was injured from the fist place. After he arrived at the Expo, he again slammed his toe against a pavement brick because of slippery floor, and his toenail almost fell out(Ouch!). Having done with disinfection and some other medical treatments, the doctor told us that Andy’s toe is intact and will get well within couple of weeks. Next, we went to a cafeteria to grab a lunch and met the senior pastor from Hanshin Church before we say goodbye. It is always very nice to know and to have fellowship with dear brother in Christ. Our team thanks God for this opportunity and hope for the best to Pastor Andrew Franklin‘s ministry.
